The largest environmental impacts are associated with manufacturing and raw material use. How-
ever, sensitivity analysis shows that extending the device's lifespan and increasing recyclability can
partially mitigate these impacts.
The study highlights the TidalKite's potential as a sustainable addition to the renewable energy mix,
offering reliable power generation with competitive environmental performance.
Future research and technological advancements could further enhance its benefits by improving
design efficiency and recycling practices.
