Abstract
Technical Design and Business Plan for a Light Energy Generation Module The aim of this project is to design a solar charger to be used in places where the access to electricity is limited or non-existent and there is a great need to provide electricity to electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets or laptops.This paper presents the basic theoreticalprinciples and equations to model the main components of the solar portable generator, as well as the power electronics needed to perform quality battery charges without damaging the electronic devices. The paper also presents aselection of real components to build the solar charger,specifying sizes and materials used.In addition to the technical design itself, a business plan is also developed in order to commercialize the portable solar charger through a digital platform (downloadable application). The business plan includes the value proposition, the business model, the strategic partners, the monetization policy, future revenue projections and the financial plan for the first three years of operation. By delivering all these outcomes, the main purpose of the project is to set the fundamental bases for the creation of a start-up company dedicated to deliver energetical services using renewable energies in order to satisfy real life needs in a sustainable way.
