Abstract
A black hole is a region of spacetime where the force of gravity makes it impossible for anything
to escape it. Therefore, the only way to study its properties is by analyzing the X-rays it emits.
The aim of this project is to analyse the data of GRS 1716-249 provided by the Swift explorer and
use the concept of the limit of Eddington to nd a lower limit for the mass of the alleged blackhole.
