Abstract
Ten million pets are lost every year [1] . A lot of these animals could have been found if they wore some kind of tracking device. We believe that our product is a solution to this common problem, and that it would reduce the number of lost animals. We have analysed existing products and looked for opportunities to stand out among them. Most of the already existing products only provide tracking features. Therefore w e decided to add extra features to stand out among others. This report describes the development process of a system for pets that monitors their activity besides being a tracking device.
