Aquest document presenta un projecte que integra l'ús del material ceràmic amb la morfologia espacial característica de l'atri climàtic en un context històric vinculat amb l'església i la parròquia adjacent del Sagrat cor a Pere IV. L'abast del projecte principal és la rehabilitació de la rectoria (actualment un centre socieducatiu) i la seva ampliació envers un centre socioeducatiu (susceptible de canviar d'us amb els anys) obert a la ciutadania ocupant la parcel·la contigua i en contacte amb l'eix Cristòbal de Moura, així com la reutilització de l'espai de l'església per espais escènics i activitats derivades del centre proposat.
El centre, a més és equipat amb una dotació esportiva. Es tracta d'una intervenció que vol demostrar la sinergia entre l'arquitectura d'obra contemporània i el caràcter formal del context parroquial on se situa, combinant un enfocament modern amb un plantejament continuista respecte les preexistències.
El projecte troba una solució de cantonada que omple l'antic solar buit contigu a l'església. Aquest context urbanístic condicionat per la gegantina presència d'edificis d'oficines determina la resposta de la intervenció, que es planteja com una unitat adaptable, respectuosa amb l'església empetitida pel context i que orquestra una seriació d'espais de gra variable a través de porositats ponderades que modulen el llindar entre l'interior i l'exterior així com d'espais de diferent indole funcional i patrimonial. La peça transiciona volumètricament des del contacte amb la parròquia fins la trobada amb un gran vial acompanyat d'edificacions més gegantines característiques del Poblenou. S'estableix un gàlib reduït i sobretot lligat a la figura de l'església com a preexistència a preservar i posar en valor.
Este documento presenta un proyecto que integra el uso del material cerámico con la morfología espacial característica del atrio climático en un contexto histórico vinculado a la iglesia y la parroquia adyacente del Sagrat Cor en Pere IV.
El alcance del proyecto principal es la rehabilitación de la rectoría (actualmente un centro socioeducativo) y su ampliación hacia un centro socioeducativo (susceptible de cambiar de uso con los años) abierto a la ciudadanía, ocupando la parcela contigua y en contacto con el eje Cristóbal de Moura, así como la reutilización del espacio de la iglesia para albergar espacios escénicos y actividades derivadas del centro propuesto.
Además, el centro está equipado con una dotación deportiva. Se trata de una intervención que busca demostrar la sinergia entre la arquitectura contemporánea de obra y el carácter formal del contexto parroquial en el que se ubica, combinando un enfoque moderno con un planteamiento continuista respecto a las preexistencias.
El proyecto resuelve la esquina rellenando el antiguo solar vacío contiguo a la iglesia. Este contexto urbanístico, condicionado por la imponente presencia de edificios de oficinas, determina la respuesta de la intervención, que se plantea como una unidad adaptable, respetuosa con la iglesia —empequeñecida por el entorno— y que organiza una secuencia de espacios de escala variable mediante porosidades cuidadosamente estudiadas que regulan el umbral entre el interior y el exterior, así como espacios de diferente índole funcional y patrimonial.
La pieza transiciona volumétricamente desde su contacto con la parroquia hasta su encuentro con una gran vía acompañada de edificaciones de mayor escala, características del Poblenou. Se establece un gálibo reducido, vinculado principalmente a la figura de la iglesia como preexistencia a preservar y poner en valor.
This document presents a project that integrates the use of ceramic material with the spatial morphology characteristic of the atrium in a historical context linked to the church and the adjacent parish of Sagrat Cor on Pere IV.
The main scope of the project is the rehabilitation of the rectory (currently a socio-educational center) and its expansion into a socio-educational center (which may change its use over the years) open to the public, occupying the adjoining plot and connecting with the Cristóbal de Moura axis. It also includes the reuse of the church space for scenic spaces and activities derived from the proposed center.
Additionally, the center is equipped with sports facilities. This intervention aims to demonstrate the synergy between contemporary architectural construction and the formal character of the parish context in which it is located, combining a modern approach with a continuous dialogue with pre-existing elements.
The project resolves the corner by filling the former vacant lot adjacent to the church. This urban context, conditioned by the imposing presence of office buildings, determines the intervention's response, which is conceived as an adaptable unit, respectful of the church—visually diminished by its surroundings—and orchestrating a sequence of spaces of varying scales through carefully designed porosities that modulate the threshold between interior and exterior, as well as spaces of different functional and heritage natures.
The volume transitions from its connection with the parish to its encounter with a major roadway, accompanied by larger buildings characteristic of Poblenou. A reduced height is established, primarily linked to the church as a pre-existing structure to be preserved and enhanced.

La intervenció s'ubica al barri de Provençals del Poblenou. Aquest actualment sofreix d'una manca d'identitat definida, ja que durant els últims anys i actualment està patint un procés d'abandonament de l'activitat industrial i artesanal que definia el caràcter del barri. L'enunciat sorgeix degur a la proposta de revisió del pla del 22@, creant un de nou introduint millores per tornar a donar vida als barris i les zones afectades. Des del projecte, a principi de curs, es va proposar un esquema director que reforcés les estratègies del pla de millora de l'ajuntament, per tal de donar suport a les intencions i tornar a donar vida als espais buits actuals. Aquesta proposta urbanística pretén reactivar el barri a través de l'eix de Pere IV com a artèria cívica principal que uneixi un seguit de places, intervencions urbanes i equipaments destinats a donar servei als veïns i atrauran de nous. El projecte es defineix com una d'aquestes intervencions, concretament, un equipament poliesportiu que resolgui la demanda d'espais de trobada i d'espais per dur a terme activitats esportives que hi ha al barri. La intervenció s'ubicarà a l'illa d'edificis del passatge Morenes. On s'obrirà aquest passatge, es crearà una plaça i es conectaran a través d'un passatge interior a través de l'equipament, tots els espais públics i privats de la zona.

Amb la premissa de treballar per construir una ciutat mixta, més inclusiva i sostenible, aquest projecte explora l'oportunitat d'intervenir en una illa completa de l'eixample de Cerdà a través de la creació d'un conjunt HÍBRID que aplega espais comercials, productius i residencials .
El projecte és també HIBRIDABLE, ja que tenint en compte les noves dinàmiques i desafiaments a què s'enfronta actualment el districte 22@, tot el disseny gira entorn de diferents tipus de flexibilitat a l'arquitectura. La mesura més destacable és la polivalència de la superfície destinada a oficines, pensada des d'un inici per ser capaç de poder transformar-se totalment o parcialment en residencial, podent així donar resposta a les demandes creixents d'habitatge.
Con la premisa de trabajar por la construcción de una ciudad mixta, más inclusiva y sostenible, este proyecto explora la oportunidad de intervenir en una manzana completa del ensanche de Cerdá a través de la creación de un conjunto HÍBRIDO que aúna espacios comerciales, productivos y residenciales.
El proyecto es también HIBRIDABLE, pues teniendo en cuenta las nuevas dinámicas y desafíos a los que se enfrenta actualmente el distrito 22@, todo el diseño gira entorno a distintos tipos de flexibilidad en la arquitectura. La medida más destacable es la polivalencia de la superficie destinada a oficinas, pensada desde un inicio para ser capaz de poder transformarse total o parcialmente en residencial, pudiendo así dar respuesta a las crecientes demandas de vivienda.
With the aim of working for the construction of a mixed, more inclusive and sustainable city, this project explores the opportunity to intervene on a complete block of the Cerdá's grid through the creation of a HYBRID complex that combines commercial, productive and residential spaces.
The project is also HYBRIDIZABLE, as it takes into account the new dynamics and challenges that the 22@ district is currently facing, so the whole design is based on different types of flexibility in architecture. The most remarkable feature is the polyvalence of the office area, designed from the beginning to be able to transform its use totally or partially into residential in order to meet to the growing housing demands.

El proyecto Fábrica de Innovación propone la rehabilitación de la Fábrica Nova en Manresa, transformándola en la nueva Facultad de Informática de la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Este proyecto arquitectónico tiene como objetivo revitalizar un complejo industrial histórico, preservando su valor patrimonial y adaptándolo a las necesidades académicas, sociales y empresariales del contexto urbano actuales. La Fábrica Nova, fundada en 1926, es un importante testimonio del auge de la industria textil catalana, y tras décadas de abandono, se convertirá en un espacio educativo y social que impulsará la regeneración urbana de Manresa.
La intervención propone la creación de un campus universitario integrado en el tejido urbano, extendiendo el Passeig de Pere III para conectar la fábrica con la ciudad. Se generará un parque central que servirá como espacio de encuentro para estudiantes y ciudadanos, activando la economía y mejorando la cohesión social de la zona. El diseño del edificio combina la preservación de su estructura original con la incorporación de nuevas áreas flexibles para aulas, laboratorios, oficinas, y espacios públicos como una biblioteca, restaurante, zona de exposición y espacio polivalente.
En términos de sostenibilidad, el proyecto prioriza la rehabilitación sobre la construcción, minimizando el impacto ambiental. Se integra un sistema de recolección de agua pluvial y soluciones de eficiencia energética, como la ventilación cruzada y el uso de energía geotérmica y solar.
El proyecto no solo responde a las demandas educativas y tecnológicas de la región, sino que también establece un precedente de cómo la innovación arquitectónica puede revitalizar el patrimonio industrial en entornos urbanos contemporáneos.

En resposta a l'estat present i amb la premissa de consolidar nous programes d'ordenació, el projecte proposa la transformació de l'antiga Fàbrica industrial de La Farinera Asunción, localitzada al districte de Poblenou. S'aposta per una agenda híbrida: un projecte que contempla un equipament creatiu al costat d'habitatges, creant noves sinergies entre el domèstic, productiu i públic. Aquest enfocament generarà un efecte lobby, materialitzat en la creació d'un espai central i multifuncional, un nucli de trobada i intercanvi que serà el cor del projecte. Aquí, els residents, artistes locals i la comunitat en general podran connectar-se, col·laborar i projectar les seves creacions, convertint-se en un punt de trobada per al barri i atraient visitants de tota la ciutat. El projecte s'alinea amb el creixent moviment maker, inspirant la comunitat a abraçar el potencial creatiu contribuint al renaixement de la zona industrial.
En respuesta al estado presente y con la premisa de consolidar nuevos programas de ordenación, el proyecto propone la transformación de la antigua Fábrica industrial de “La Farinera Asunción”, localizada en el distrito de Poblenou. Se apuesta por una agenda híbrida: un proyecto que contempla un equipamiento creativo junto a viviendas, creando nuevas sinergias entre lo doméstico, productivo y público. Este enfoque generará un efecto “lobby”, materializado en la creación de un espacio central y multifuncional, un núcleo de encuentro e intercambio que será el corazón del proyecto. Aquí, los residentes, artistas locales y la comunidad en general podrán conectarse, colaborar y proyectar sus creaciones, convirtiéndose en un punto de encuentro para el barrio y atrayendo a visitantes de toda la ciudad. El proyecto se alinea con el creciente movimiento “maker”, inspirando a la comunidad a abrazar el potencial creativo contribuyendo al renacimiento de la zona industrial.
In response to the current state and with the premise of consolidating new development programmes, the project proposes the transformation of the old industrial factory of La Farinera Asunción, located in the district of Poblenou. It is committed to a hybrid agenda: a project that contemplates creative equipment next to homes, creating new synergies between the domestic, productive and public. This approach will generate a lobby effect, materialized in the creation of a central and multifunctional space, a nucleus of meeting and exchange that will be the heart of the project. Here, residents, local artists, and the community at large will be able to connect, collaborate, and project their creations, becoming a meeting point for the neighborhood and attracting visitors from all over the city. The project aligns with the growing maker movement, inspiring the community to embrace the creative potential contributing to the renaissance of the industrial zone.

El projecte se situa al barri del Poble Nou, dins del districte de Sant Martí a Barcelona, i planteja una intervenció urbanística destinada a integrar i revitalitzar una parcel·la delimitada pels carrers Llull, Ramon Turró, Ciutat de Granada i Badajoz, qualificada amb claus 22@ i 7b. La proposta pretén millorar la qualitat de vida mitjançant un màster pla que connecta tres pomes a través d'un passatge, generant un espai que fomenti la creació d'activitats diverses. L'enfocament del projecte resideix en la mixtura d'usos, incorporant habitatge públic, equipaments comunitaris, comerç, oficines i activitats terciàries, amb una atenció especial a les necessitats habitacionals i esportives del barri.
El proyecto se sitúa en el barrio del Poble Nou, dentro del distrito de Sant Martí en Barcelona, y plantea una intervención urbanística destinada a integrar y revitalizar una parcela delimitada por las calles Llull, Ramon Turró, Ciutat de Granada y Badajoz, cualificada con claves 22@ y 7b. La propuesta busca mejorar la calidad de vida mediante un máster plan que conecta tres manzanas a través de un pasaje, generando un espacio que fomente la creación de actividades diversas. The project is located in the Poble Nou neighbourhood, within the Sant Martí district in Barcelona, and proposes an urban intervention aimed at integrating and revitalising a plot bordered by the streets of Llull, Ramon Turró, Ciutat de Granada and Badajoz, classified with codes 22@ and 7b. The proposal seeks to improve the quality of life through a master plan that connects three blocks through a passage, generating a space that encourages the creation of diverse activities. The focus of the project lies in the mix of uses, incorporating public housing, community facilities, commerce, offices and tertiary activities, with special attention to the housing and sports needs of the neighbourhood.

Teniendo como base la preexistencia y el colectivo de artistas ya instalado en La Escocesa, este proyecto pretende continuar y potenciar esta comunidad. Proponiendo un sistema cooperativo de vivienda que a su vez de servicio y englobe a la asociación actual de artistas. Se rehabilitan tanto la nave Klein como la nave G al mismo tiempo que los recorridos interiores del complejo, para crear espacios y viviendas asequibles tanto para estos artistas como para jóvenes y estudiantes interesados en formar parte de esta comunidad. De igual manera se reservan espacios para la interacción con el barrio cono talleres o salas de exposiciones entre otros, en una búsqueda de acercar e incluir a los vecinos en la comunidad. De esta manera, se plantea un sistema de habitar semi-colectivo que, a su vez, respeta el espacio privado de sus usuarios delimitando las diferentes zonas según si grado de privacidad.
Launching off from the pre-existence of La Escocesa and the art collective already settle within, this project aims to continue and benefit this community. We propose a cooperative association housing system with the intention of acting as a beacon and providing for the artist's union. Simultaneously, we rehabilitate the G nave and the Klein nave along the interior corridors of the building, creating livable and affordable spaces for the artists, as well as young adults and students interested in partaking in this community. At the same time, we reserve spaces for workshops and art exhibitions among other activities, in an attempt to close the gap between the neighborhood and the artist community. This way, a hybrid collective housing system is established, while at the same time putting in respectfully setting boundaries between the user's private space, lining different zones based on the privacy.

La palabra rehabilitación es una palabra muy escuchada en la actualidad, pero, ¿sabemos quée quiere decir?
Tras de analizar la real necesidad de vivienda y de actividades para el barrio de Pere IV, se decide que el proyecto tiene el objetivo de rehabilitar el frontal que da a la calle Pere IV cuya función original era las viviendas de los obreros que trabajaban en las fábricas de la Escocesa. En el año 2006 el ayuntamiento de Barcelona cataloga la finca y queda protegida por el Plan Especial de Protección del Patrimonio industrial del Pueblo Nuevo con un nivel B y este mismo, en 2017 se hace con el 93% de la titularidad con el fin de evitar que caiga en manos de titularidades privadas. Después del deterioro y las obras colindantes, en 2020 el ayuntamiento decide desalojar a las familias que habitaban y declara la finca en ruinas. Entonces, ¿cómo se debe actuar en un edificio protegido patrimonialmente y en estado ruinoso?
Analizando el proyecto junto a las necesidades, se decide el derribo de las edificaciones unifamiliares colindantes para la construcción de un centro cívico a la vez que una plaza interior que articulen de pasos de circulación que conecten el interior de la finca con los espacios creados y el barrio.
El centro cívico abarca espacios para la lectura, el aprendizaje y la cooperación social del barrio así como otras actividades y espacios que puedan usar los usuarios vecinos de la Escocesa.

El proyecto se ubica en el Poblenou, un barrio de Barcelona en proceso de transformación tras su pasado industrial. Con la llegada del Plan 22@, la zona ha evolucionado hacia un distrito tecnológico, pero persisten problemas urbanos, como la falta de viviendas y la desconexión entre ciertos espacios.
El diseño propuesto aborda estas cuestiones mediante la construcción de un edificio de alojamiento estudiantil con planta baja destinada a actividades públicas. El edificio conecta la calle y el pasaje adyacente, integrándose en la trama urbana y creando un paso público que fomenta la interacción social.
La arquitectura responde tanto al contexto histórico como al futuro del barrio, usando materiales tradicionales como el ladrillo y evocando las emblemáticas chimeneas industriales en su diseño. El proyecto busca recuperar la vitalidad del Poblenou al mezclar usos y revitalizar su tejido urbano.

El crecimiento de las ciudades ha limitado la expansión horizontal, como en Barcelona, donde el espacio edificable está casi agotado. En respuesta, se ha optado por estrategias de densificación y regeneración urbana. En el barrio del Poble Nou, con baja densidad y vacíos urbanos, surge la solución de la remonta, que permite añadir nuevas estructuras sobre las ya existentes sin destruir el tejido urbano.
El proyecto se sitúa en una manzana con edificios del siglo XIX y XX, caracterizados por pequeñas parcelas y alturas irregulares. Solo las esquinas han agotado su edificabilidad, mientras que el resto de los edificios tienen un máximo de tres plantas. Se identifican vacíos ocupados por una oficina y una cafetería, que se eliminan para crear acceso y apoyo estructural al nuevo edificio. El proyecto, dividido en cuatro piezas conectadas por pasarelas, se apoya en parte en el terreno y en parte sobre estructuras existentes. Aunque casi duplica el espacio edificable, mantiene las viviendas y minimiza la intervención en el suelo, respetando la identidad del barrio.

En la emblemática fábrica La Escocesa de Poblenou se plantea una intervención que transforma la preexistencia para mejorar el complejo fabril, que data del siglo XIX. Actualmente, en la fábrica conviven artistas de numerosas disciplinas, haciendo uso de las instalaciones de maneras completamente diferentes a las que originalmente se plantearon para el emplazamiento, el cual fue, durante muchos años, una fábrica perteneciente al sector textil. Siendo parte de las Fábricas de Creación de Barcelona, la Escocesa se consolida como un hito cultural y artístico de Poblenou, protagonista de numerosas reivindicaciones sociales arropadas por el sentimiento de comunidad forjado por los usuarios y artistas a lo largo de las décadas.
El proyecto recoge estas cuestiones preliminares y plantea un programa que unifica el uso de la Escocesa con su parcela colindante, donde se desarrolla una galería de arte que ensalza a la Escocesa como hito de la ciudad, pudiendo albergar las obras producidas tanto por los artistas residentes como por cualquier otro artista que forme parte de la red de Fábricas de Creación de Barcelona. El programa de la galería incluye también un bloque destinado a talleres y residencia temporal para artistas, continuando con la dinámica existente en el resto del conjunto. Respaldado por un concepto teórico ligado a la liminalidad y la búsqueda del significado del espacio expositivo, el proyecto busca generar nuevos espacios singulares que vayan de la mano con la presencia y pasado industrial de la Escocesa.

Aquest projecte naix de la necessitat d'un augment de densitat poblacional proposta per l'Ajuntament de Barcelona en l'àrea total del Poblenou i del 22@. Aquesta necessitat es deu a l'alta proliferació del sector terciari i la intenció de voler donar al barri un caràcter més residencial i personal per l'alta demanda de vivenda en l'Àrea Metropolitana de Barcelona. La redensificació residencial parteix d'una dada característica, un Índex d'Edificabilitat Brut (IEB) actual de 2,2-2,5 m2t/m2s en general de l'àrea del 22@ amb un 10% aproximadament d'habitatge repartit de manera no homogènia per passar a un 30% com a objectiu principal. Aquest augment es transcriu en un augment de l'IEB del 0,7 per passar al 3,2, per la qual cosa la densitat edificatòria augmentaria notablement i ompliria els petits espais sense edificar del barri d'habitatges.
La proposta tracta de l'estudi d'una illa de l'eixample per a posteriorment desenvolupar una cantonada d'aquesta, que tindrà un ús de párquing en el soterrani, centre cívic i comerç en planta baixa i hbitatges socials en plantes superiors. La planta baixa té l'accés en el centre, un gran espai central la dividix i fa de distribuïdor, entre una retícula de pilars de formigó es va desenvolupant els diferents usos, resultant una franja paral·lela al carrer dedicat a comerços i una interior que busca relacionar-se amb l'interior de la illa. Els habitatges es desenvolupen a través d'escales que comuniquen a tres habitatges per planta i dos en el centre, quedant així vivendes de dos i una estada partint del mateix mòdul base per a desenvolupar les solucions i casos específics en cada cas.
Este proyecto nace de la necesidad de aumento de densidad poblacional propuesta por l'Ajuntament de Barcelona en el área total del Poblenou y del 22@. Esta necesidad se debe a la alta proliferación del sector terciario y la intención de querer dar al barrio de un carácter más residencial y personal por la alta demanda de vivienda en el Área Metropolitana de Barcelona. La redensificación residencial parte de un dato característico, un Índice de Edificabilidad Bruto (IEB) actual de 2,2 – 2,5 m2t/m2s en general del área del 22@ con un 10% aproximadamente de vivienda repartido de manera no homogénea para pasar a un 30%. Este aumento se transcribe en un aumento del IEB del 0,7 para pasar al 3,2 por lo que la densidad edificatoria aumentaría notablemente y llenaría los pequeños espacios sin edificar del barrio de viviendas.
La propuesta trata del estudio de una manzana del ensanche para posteriormente desarrollar una esquina de la misma, que albergará un uso de párquing en el sótano, centro cívico y comercio en planta baja y viviendas sociales en plantes superiores. La planta baja tiene el acceso en el centro, un gran espacio central la divide y hace de distribuidor, entre una retícula de pilares de hormigón se va desarrollando los diferentes usos, resultando una franja paralela a la calle dedicada a comercios y una interior que busca relacionarse con el interior de manzana. Las viviendas se desarrollan a través de escaleras que comunican a tres viviendas por planta y dos en el centro, quedando así viviendas de dos y una estancia partiendo del mismo módulo base para desarrollar las soluciones y casos específicos en cada caso.
This project arises from the need to increase the population density proposed by the Barcelona City Council in the total area of Poblenou and 22@. This need is due to the high proliferation of the tertiary sector and the intention to give the neighbourhood a more residential and personal character due to the high demand for housing in the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona.Residential redensification is based on a characteristic fact, a current Gross Buildability Index (GBI) of 2.2 - 2.5 m2t/m2s in the 22@ area in general, with approximately 10% of housing distributed unevenly, rising to 30%. This increase translates into an increase in the GBI of 0.7 to 3.2, which means that building density would increase considerably and would fill the small undeveloped spaces in the neighbourhood with housing.
The proposal deals with the study of a block in the widening of the city in order to subsequently develop a corner of it, which will house a car park in the basement, a civic centre and shops on the ground floor and social housing on the upper floors. The ground floor has the access in the centre, a large central space divides it and acts as a distributor, between a grid of concrete pillars the different uses are developed, resulting in a strip parallel to the street dedicated to shops and an interior that seeks to relate to the interior of the block. The dwellings are developed through staircases that connect three dwellings per floor and two in the centre, thus leaving dwellings of two and one room, starting from the same base module to develop the solutions and specific cases in each case.

La Escocesa es troba en una zona que necessita urgentment una revitalització ambiental i social. El projecte de rehabilitació pretén ser un catalitzador per a la regeneració del barri, introduint tallers per a artistes i espais de restauració. No només proporciona nous serveis i oportunitats d'ocupació, sinó que també enriqueix el teixit social del barri, recuperant l'esperit col·laboratiu i creatiu que alguna vegada el va caracteritzar. D'altra banda, a les plantes superiors, el projecte introdueix habitatge social mitjançant la utilització dels espais existents, així com la divisió en dos dels espais amb gran altura.
La intervenció a La Escocesa es basa en principis de sostenibilitat i respecte per l'estructura original. Les tècniques de rehabilitació prioritzen la restauració per sobre de la demolició, utilitzant intervencions modulars i reversibles que permeten mantenir la integritat de l'edifici. Els murs de càrrega existents es reforçaran per assegurar l'estabilitat estructural, mentre que s'incorporaran noves estructures de fusta i metall per sostenir les noves funcions de l'edifici.
La Escocesa se encuentra en una zona que necesita urgentemente una revitalización ambiental y social. El proyecto de rehabilitación pretende ser un catalizador para la regeneración del barrio, introduciendo talleres para artistas y espacios de restauración no solo proporciona nuevos servicios y oportunidades de empleo, sino que también enriquece el tejido social del barrio, recuperando el espíritu colaborativo y creativo que alguna vez lo caracterizó. Por otro lado, en las plantas superiores el proyecto introduce vivienda social mediante la utilización de los espacios existentes, así como la división en dos de los espacios con gran altura.
La intervención en La Escocesa se basa en principios de sostenibilidad y respeto por la estructura original. Las técnicas de rehabilitación priorizan la restauración sobre la demolición, utilizando intervenciones modulares y reversibles que permiten mantener la integridad del edificio. Los muros de carga existentes se reforzarán para asegurar la estabilidad estructural, mientras que se incorporarán nuevas estructuras de madera y metal para sostener las nuevas funciones del edificio.
La Escocesa is located in an area that urgently needs environmental and social revitalization. The rehabilitation project aims to be a catalyst for the regeneration of the neighborhood, introducing workshops for artists and dining spaces. It not only provides new services and job opportunities but also enriches the social fabric of the area, reviving the collaborative and creative spirit that once characterized it. On the other hand, on the upper floors, the project introduces social housing by utilizing the existing spaces, as well as dividing the high-ceilinged spaces into two.
The intervention at La Escocesa is based on principles of sustainability and respect for the original structure. The rehabilitation techniques prioritize restoration over demolition, using modular and reversible interventions that preserve the integrity of the building. The existing load-bearing walls will be reinforced to ensure structural stability, while new wooden and metal structures will be incorporated to support the building's new functions.

En el extremo nororiental del Poblenou la tardía y escasa implantación del 22@ hasta la fecha permite repensar ese modelo de ciudad. Se abre la oportunidad de intentar adaptarlo a las complicadas condiciones socioeconómicas del lugar y que este realmente suponga una mejora en el barrio. Bajo esta premisa, este proyecto plantea la actuación sobre un conjunto de vivienda obrera de principios del siglo XX y asociada al cercano complejo industrial de Ca l'Illa. Se plantea una crítica al planeamiento, el cual propone su derribo obviando los valores patrimoniales, ambientales y sociales que posee este núcleo residencial. Se propone una nueva ordenación que haga compatible las premisas del 22@ con el mantenimiento de los valores del lugar, con nuevos usos que respondan a las necesidades de los vecinos. Dentro de estos se propone y desarrolla un complejo compuesto por un equipamiento socioeducativo junto con viviendas dotacionales para personas en riesgo extremo de exclusión social y vivienda protegida.
In the north-east corner of Poblenou, the late development of the 22@ offers the opportunity to rethink its premises. There is the chance to try to adapt it to the complicated socio-economic situation of the neighborhood and ensure that it really helps to improve it. Under this premise, this project adresses changes over a working-class housing complex built during the first half of the 20th century and associated to an important industrial complex called Ca l'Illa. A critic view over the urban planning is proposed, as nowadays the council plans are to demolish the whole complex, ignoring all the historic, social and environmental values that it treasures. A new planning is suggested in order to make possible both the rollout of the 22@ and the preservation of the housing, at the same time that the neighbors demands are answered. According to these, a new social complex is proposed with two categories of subsidized housing and an educational facility to attend those in extreme risk of social exclusion and preventing them of being ejected of the neighborhood.

El presente proyecto consiste en la realización de un planeamiento urbanístico y el desarrollo arquitectónico de una parcela de este en el barrio de El Poblenou, Barcelona, una zona con un pasado industrial significativo y en proceso de transformación urbana. Este, sigue con el objetivo del 22@ de generar un tejido de ciudad mixta, impulsando el desarrollo económico y social de la ciudad, aprovechando la infraestructura existente y fomentando la sostenibilidad e integración urbana. Es por eso que, al estar situado en una manzana industrial, el planeamiento se centra en mantener parte de las naves industriales y construir nuevas edificaciones en altura, creando en la propia manzana una “ciudad mixta”. La estrategia es crear una manzana mixta en usos y construcciones a la par que se busca lograr una conexión y relación del conjunto a través de pasajes.
El desarrollo del proyecto se centra en la creación de una edificación residencial de 114 viviendas sociales y 16 alojamientos coliving, a la vez que se incluyen otros usos de carácter más público, cultural y comercial. En las plantas bajas, se sitúan unas zonas comunes, un casal de entidades y locales, potenciando la estrategia de variedad de usos en la propia edificación.Uno de los aspectos claves es la estrategia de priorizar la sostenibilidad y eficiencia energética del edificio mediante sistemas pasivos. El proyecto consta de dos bloques de viviendas con pasarelas, separados por un gran espacio verde creando un microclima, un refugio climático. Así pues, una de las principales características del diseño es la orientación de las viviendas hacia el sur y sureste para aprovechar al máximo la luz solar natural, reduciendo la necesidad de calefacción en invierno y permitiendo una mayor eficiencia energética en el edificio. Por ende, se decide diseñar unos espacios intermedios en las envolventes, tanto en los espacios públicos de planta baja con doble fachada de vidrio, como para las viviendas con patios de invierno.

La ciutat de Barcelona, i en particular el barri del Poblenou, han esdevingut en les darreres dècades epicentres de cultura. La cristal·lització d'aquesta realitat s'ha manifestat en la creació d'un entramat de centres d'experimentació en diverses pràctiques artístiques, adoptant la fórmula de les fàbriques de creació.
Aquest projecte estudiarà la materialització d'una nova fàbrica de creació que aculli i acompanyi la comunitat musical a Barcelona. L'emplaçament seleccionat es troba al passatge Masoliver, prop de l'estació de metro de Llacuna, un dels accessos principals al barri. El caràcter intern d'aquest passatge evoca la creació d'interconnexions que potencien les dinàmiques comunitàries i l'intercanvi, essent claus en el desenvolupament del centre musical. La reactivació de les plantes baixes a través d'un programa fragmentat en diferents parcel·les del passatge, es complementarà amb un conjunt de residències per a músics.

La cristalización de esta realidad se ha manifestado en la creación de un entramado de centros de experimentación en varias prácticas artísticas, adoptando la fórmula de las fábricas de creación.
Este proyecto estudiará la materialización de una nueva fábrica de creación que acoja y acompañe la comunidad musical en Barcelona. El emplazamiento seleccionado se encuentra al pasaje Masoliver, cerca de la estación de metro de Llacuna, uno de los accesos principales al barrio. El carácter interno de este pasaje evoca la creación de interconexiones que potencian las dinámicas comunitarias y el intercambio, siendo claves en el desarrollo del centro musical. La reactivación de las plantas bajas a través de un programa fragmentado en diferentes parcelas del pasaje, se complementará con un conjunto de residencias para músicos.
The city of Barcelona, and in particular the Poblenou district, have become the epicentres of culture in recent decades. The crystallization of this reality has manifested itself in the creation of a network of experimentation centers in various artistic practices, adopting the formula of the creational factories.
This project will study the materialization of a new creation factory that welcomes and accompanies the musical community in Barcelona. The selected location is located in the Masoliver Passage, near the Llacuna metro station, one of the main accesses to the neighborhood. The internal character of this passage evokes the creation of interconnections that enhance community dynamics and exchange, being key in the development of the musical center. The reactivation of the ground floors through a fragmented program in different plots of the passage, will be complemented by a set of residences for musicians.

El projecte està situat al carrer de Pere IV amb Selva de Mar, Barcelona. Es proposa la construcció d'un nou edifici residencial en règim de dret de superfície, que inclourà a les plantes baixes un centre cívic, comerços de petita escala i un parc verd central. L'estratègia principal és reactivar el barri mitjançant una arquitectura que promogui l'ús de l'espai amb el programa i alhora augmentar la densitat poblacional per incentivar les interaccions socials.
El proyecto está situado en la calle Pere IV con Selva de Mar, Barcelona. Se propone la construcción de un nuevo edificio residencial en régimen de derecho de superficie, que incluirá en sus plantas bajas un centro cívico, comercios de pequeña escala y un parque verde central. La estrategia principal es reactivar el barrio a través de una arquitectura que promueva el uso del espacio con el programa y, al mismo tiempo, aumentar la densidad poblacional para incentivar las interacciones sociales.
